BFA Thesis: what we never said

re·la·tion·ship (n): the way in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected, or the state of being connected.

Throughout college I experienced many ends to relationships and was blindsided by the emotions of the other party. I have been left with words I never got to tell the other person and as I take a step back, we both were feeling two different ways about one another. what we never said is the emotional diary I wrote to cope with two very intimate and personal relationships and to say what I was never able to tell them in person.

These people are representations of two beings. These figures are experiencing two different emotional states in different “worlds”, while both are in the same physical time. The characters are women because I identify as a woman and find that we are better figures through narration. Next to them are words from original thoughts I had after my past relationships, recalling where we went wrong and the communication faults.
